KUNVUK Completes Work On Debut Album

Sydney, Australia-based metallers KUNVUK have finished mixing and mastering their debut album, "Immute:Jackals", for a late September release via the band's own label, The Light of Damnation Records. The CD was recorded, engineered, mixed and produced by the band's lead guitarist/vocalist David Hart and mastered by Rick O'Neil (FAITH NO MORE, GRINSPOON, BOB DYLAN) at Turtlerock Mastering.

Recorded at the band's own Shadow Mekanik Studios, "Immute:Jackals" will be released as a two-disc digipack edition. The first disc will contain 12 new compositions rallying from the brink of insanity to the pinnacle of clarity. Coupled with this will be a second disc which will contain the reconstructed, re-recorded, remixed and remastered version of the band's demo EP, "The Gone Mekanik Anticipation Demonstration".

Painstakingly recorded over a two year period and representing the culmination of years of no sleep and damaged nerves, "Immute:Jackals" has been completely independently funded and produced.
